Latest News:

From Thursday 3rd July onwards, we are pleased to present
the new  'Jewels of the East' walk which starts at 1.30pm at
Mile End tube station. (please see 'Jewels of the East' web
page).

Our 'Hidden Gardens' walk has recently been featured in an
article on:   artslondonnews.co.uk   (Please see the 'Contact
Us' page for a direct link).

The walk called 'Brave New World-the Docklands Explorer'
now runs
every Friday at 1.30pm. This truly thrilling walk
starts at Tower Hill and heads out east via St. Katherine's
Dock and the most amazing hidden trail of peaceful
ornamental canals and redeveloped dock basins, to arrive at
Canary Wharf by 3.30pm. Almost the entire route is along
waterways and the Thames Path. Many pleasant surprises lie
along the way!  (Please see 'Docklands' page)
.

Lunchtime walk on Tuesdays:   Every Tuesday at midday, we
are pleased to
offer the 'London Gateway' walk. This 45
minute tour starts from Bermondsey tube station at midday,
and joins the Thames walk to approach the city, with
wonderful views of Tower Bridge looming ever larger as we
go. Along the way, we encounter the Chambers Wharf, Butlers
Wharf, and the redeveloped 'Shad Thames' area  (London's old
spice warehouses). We also see the remains of Edward III's
moated manor house, and probably London's most moving and
poignant sculpture, known as 'Dr. Salter's Daydream'. (The cat
in the picture on the right is one part of this three-part
sculpture).
Meet by the exit of Bermondsey tube station (Jubilee
Line) near the ticket office a few minutes before midday.

This walk finishes at Shad Thames by Tower Bridge at 12.45.
This lunchtime walk is free, but donations after the walk are
gratefully accepted (proceeds to 'Cancer Research UK' and
'Oxfam')

Now running every Tuesday, the 'Old London Bridge' walk has
been incorporated into a new walk called:

'4 Bridges of the City'  (Tuesdays)

Crossing the Thames via Tower Bridge, London Bridge,
Southwark and the Millenium footbridge, this amazing walk
links the glories of the Tower of London and St. Paul's
Cathedral. We include the history of Old London Bridge, and
you will still see a model and actual stones from the ancient
bridge. This walk will start at 1.30pm each Tuesday, just meet
at the giant sundial above Tower Hill tube station.
As an
added bonus at the end of this walk, we can usually arrange
free access into St. Paul's Cathedral.

Now running every Wednesday, don't miss our popular gardens
walk:

'Hidden Gardens of the City'   (Wednesdays)

From sunken gardens and hidden courtyards to a rooftop oasis
in the sky, this walk will explore the little 'green islands' in a
sea of stone, glass and steel. The walk includes water features
and fountains.   (Please see 'Hidden Gardens' page).

'Londinium'

Please note that 'Londinium'  only runs during the Autumn and
Winter seasons. This walk will recommence in November 2008.
